Acknowledgment: All reports will be acknowledged within seven (7) days of receipt, unless the reporter remains anonymous.
Investigation: A designated investigating officer or committee will conduct a fair, impartial, and thorough investigation. The process will:
- Be conducted promptly and with discretion
- Gather relevant evidence and witness statements

- Maintain confidentiality to the extent possible

False or Malicious Reports
While we encourage open communication, reports made in bad faith or with intent to deceive, harm, or manipulate may result in disciplinary action. However, the church recognizes that good-faith reports that are later found to be unsubstantiated are not considered false reports and will not result in any adverse consequences for the reporter.
